Mayberry Ice Cream Restaurants in High Point

First time eating there and I absolutely loved it! Awesome service, great food, and the best Banana split that I've ever had. I will definitely be coming back!

The food was very good and the server was nice. It took a little while for the food to come out, but everything was great. They have s good children's menu and plenty of sandwiches for adults to choose from. They also have very good ice cream. We got a couple hot fudge sundaes to share.

All I can say is "bean and bacon soup". Delicious with crackers. They have a great hotdog too!

Way way way overpriced. 8 and change for a ham and cheese sandwich thatIs always inconsistent. Sometimes a handful of fries and other times they load it up. Their burgers at 9 and change you’d expect to be much better than what they are. Ice cream is super high priced also. When I ask the lady there (Older white one not younger one) to add this or not she pretty much does what she wants. I’ve had her tell me “she’ll try” when I asked to have my bread toasted more so it won’t be soggy by the time I walk across the street. Last time it was toasted fine, it the ham was straight up cold. Younger girl it’s always as I ask for it. Tired of paying so much for what I get in return. Was eating everyday out of convenience. No longer.

First time ever coming here since I've officially moved to highpoint, and it the food was delicious! Plus Hannah and her Customer service was nothing short of amazing

The kids had a good time. You have to sit down at a table then order your Ice Cream which is different. The experience would’ve been better for the kids; if you could order at the ice cream case at the front of the restaurant.

If I could rate this place a 0 I most definitely would! Worst customer service I have EVER experienced in my life and I have worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 years. Spent $61 and once it was delivered, half of the food was entirely wrong, it was all cold and I tried getting my subs corrected but the owner was basically telling me that I’m the one that’s wrong and it was UberEats fault. Makes no sense when Uber wasn’t the one who cooked my food. I’ll definitely be going to the one in Winston because the High Point location is the sorriest excuse for a restaurant I’ve ever seen. Not to mention the “owner or manager” is rude and doesn’t give a care in the world what the customer says 🙄

I've been here 3 tines and I always love it. Not too expensive, but better quality than fast food. Its an amazing place to eat at for lunch.

I only had a salad but it was very good. The guy at the next table had a steak sandwich and it looked so good i am going back just to get one. The people were very friendly and did a great job. Give them a try

A great local tradition and the perfect place to meet family and friends for quick treat. Great sandwiches, soups, hamburgers, hot dogs, French fries, even great salads. And don't forget the ice cream 😁

The food and service were lacking. There were not enough competent servers working a busy day and the ones that were there only came to my table 3 times during the entire meal. The food was tasteless and overcooked. No one ever asked how the food was because I think they knew it was bad. It was a mistake to go here for regular food. Stick to the desserts only!

Oh, Mayberry, your bean and bacon soup with an egg salad sandwich is my go to. Always consistent and good. A tradition was born 3 years ago of going on Mother's day afternoon and sharing a banana split with my Mom after our meal. We visit often for lunch. Good service and food!

Staff and owner/manager were very rude. Will never go back. Also do NOT go here if you have any food allergies!

96 Sanitation Ratings & Not that great. Wanted to try something different. Bathrooms were really dirty and not updated, husband said his was disgusting. Dead bugs in the lights over the booths. Survey was efficient but no personality which should be a requirement for a cute place like this. I ordered a Bacon & Cheeseburger and I thought the burger would be pattied out but it tasted like a frozen soy burger...ugh. French fries were okay, didn't like the Hunts ketchup, it tasted bad but expiration date was current. Husband ordered Flatbread w/ turkey, bacon and Swiss and he said it was alright. He also like the home style chips. The water tasted like yucky city water, maybe try a filter. Really it needs to be closed and a good deep clean done, especially the walls bc the walls had splattered stuff on them. This place could be so cute, please clean it up and wax the floors. Loved the pictures and history.

Very good atmosphere.. Very low key and down to earth people. The food is amazing not to mention the world class ice cream!

Needs Better Service

3 scoops for 3 yrs of Marriage! Mayberry's Banana Split was the perfect choice for us!! The BEST old fashioned banana split I've had since I was a kid!👍 And they have good food too if you're hungry!

Couldn't eat anything bc of cross contamination of nut products. Was actually surprised to see scoops dipped in the same container. My son enjoyed it though.

Pretry much no AC and my icecream melted alot and was all over me before I could even make it out the door. Tasted good tho.

I had the lunch special of them day. It was a chicken salad sandwich with a side. The small amount was good, yet could have been a bit more. I chose ice cream as my side and they gave me a good sized cone with very tasty butter pecan ice cream. The lady with me was quite satisfied as well.ve

enjoyed it , ice cream is higher than average and had a really young waitress who was more interested in talking to other coworkers than serving but overall still will be a regular! Peaceful not crowded when we go

I just love Mayberry's! my favorite is their strawberry pound cake and beand n bacon soup in a cup! I have had only positive wonderful experiences with their staff and their food always good!

Service was great and the food was awesome! The restaurant was clean and neat. My daughter and I split a Reuben sandwich. Then we both ordered a banana split sundae. Oh! it was wonderful. I definitely recommend!

Hot dog was very disappointing will never get again and it used to be my favorite. Ice cream was good as always.

Mayberry Ice Cream Shop is a great restaurant that has wonderful 1/4lb hot dogs and bean and bacon soup. The waitresses are very friendly and efficient. The prices are very reasonable also. Their ice cream is also very good! I highly recommended Mayberry Ice Cream Shop!

Old school in a new school world. This restaurant is a throw back to a slower, easier time. It's like walking through a time portal. It is like a 50's soda shop! And when you're done with your home cooked meal...stay and enjoy some yummy ice cream or an ice cream float! Not many places like this left. Love it!

Come here most Sunday's for ice cream. Last few times the service has really gone down hill. Today was enough. Got up and walked out after 10 min of just sitting there. Will not be back. It’s a shame. Good food.

Phenomenal Customer Service. Accidently ordered through a food delivery service app ( to the Winston Location), so the manager said no problem, we will just order it here and took care of me promptly. Amazing service AND amazing food!

The ice cream selection is good. Lots of flavors. But the price is Crazy high. I got a cone with two scoops and a milkshake. It was $10.23 for that. The cone alone was $5.40. That’s Way To High for some ice cream.

It was amazing! Food and deserts were very delicious! The staff was awesome, very friendly and patient, our waitress was a jewelry.
